حَدِیث معَیقِب عَنِ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَیهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of Mu'ayqib from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 15509
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُعَيْقِيبٌ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَسْحُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَعْنِي الْحَصَى ؟ قَالَ : فَقَالَ : " إِنْ كُنْتَ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muqib that a person asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about leveling pebbles in prostration: so he said, "If there is no other way and it is necessary to do so, then do it only once."
Hadith 15510
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مُعَيْقِيبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muqib that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to the heels from the fire of Hell."
Hadith 15511
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُعَيْقِيبٌ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُسَوِّي التُّرَابَ حَيْثُ يَسْجُدُ : " إِنْ كُنْتَ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً " .
