Hadith of 'Amr ibn Al-Ahwas (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15507
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ شَبِيبِ بْنِ غَرْقَدَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَيُّ يَوْمٍ يَوْمُكُمْ ؟ " , فَذَكَرَ خُطْبَتَهُ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Ahwas that I was present at the Farewell Pilgrimage sermon of the Prophet (peace be upon him). He was asking, "What day is it today?" Then he mentioned the sermon of the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah.
