حَدِیث وَهبِ بنِ حذَیفَةَ عَنِ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَیهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of Wahb ibn Hudhayfah from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 15483
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي وَاسِعُ بْنُ حَبَّانَ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ حُذَيْفَةَ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الرَّجُلُ أَحَقُّ بِمَجْلِسِهِ ، وَإِنْ قَامَ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ " , أَيْ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wahb bin Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A person has the most right to his seat. If he gets up from there and then returns, he still has the most right to it.
Hadith 15484
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْوَاسِطِيُّ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ حُذَيْفَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا قَامَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ، فَرَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ ، فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ حَاجَةٌ ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهَا ثُمَّ رَجَعَ ، فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ " .
