Hadith 15464
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ , قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " سَجَدَ فِي النَّجْمِ وَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ " ، قَالَ الْمُطَّلِب : وَلَمْ أَسْجُدْ مَعَهُمْ ، وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُشْرِكٌ ، فَقَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ : فَلَا أَدَعُ السُّجُودَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mutlib bin Abi Wada'ah that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the prostration of recitation at the verse of prostration in Surah An-Najm, and all the people also prostrated, but I did not prostrate because at that time I was a polytheist. Therefore, now I will never abandon the prostration in it.
Hadith 15465
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ السَّهْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ سُورَةَ النَّجْمِ ، فَسَجَدَ وَسَجَدَ مَنْ عِنْدَهُ ، فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي وَأَبَيْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَسْلَمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُطَّلِبُ ، وَكَانَ بَعْدُ لَا يَسْمَعُ أَحَدًا قَرَأَهَا إِلَّا سَجَدَ .
