Hadith 15450
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umair bin Salamah that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by the place of Arj, where a donkey was lying that was wounded. Shortly after, a man from the tribe of Bahz came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! This is my hunted game, do with it as you wish." The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, and he distributed it among the companions. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) departed from there and reached Aqabah Athayah, where he saw a deer with an arrow stuck in its body, lying crookedly in the shade of a rock. The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered one of his companions, "You stay here until all the companions arrive, so that no one may throw anything at it."
