حَدِیث اَبِی كلَیب رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Hadith of Abu Kulayb (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15432
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ عُثَيْمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ , أَنَّهُ جَاءَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ : قَدْ أَسْلَمْتُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَلْقِ عَنْكَ شَعَرَ الْكُفْرِ " , يَقُولُ : أَحْلِقْ ، قَالَ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي آخَرُ مَعَهُ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِآخَرَ : " أَلْقِ عَنْكَ شَعَرَ الْكُفْرِ ، وَاخْتَتِنْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Kaleeb that he presented himself before the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: I have accepted Islam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Remove the hair of the time of disbelief from yourself, that is, shave your head. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to another man: Remove the hair of the time of disbelief from yourself, that is, shave your head and get circumcised.
