حَدِیث رَجل عَن اَبِیهِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Hadith of a man from his father (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15420
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مَنًا يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ : قَالَ : بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَرِيَّةً كُنْتُ فِيهَا ، " فَنَهَانَا أَنْ نَقْتُلَ الْعُسَفَاءَ ، وَالْوُصَفَاءَ " .
Ayyub says that I heard a man narrate from his father that the Prophet (peace be upon him) sent out an army in which I was also present. The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade us from killing laborers and boys capable of serving.
