حَدِیث مطِیعِ بنِ الاَسوَدِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Hadith of Muti' ibn al-Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15406
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ , قَالَ : قَالَ مُطِيعُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ : " لَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُقْتَلَ قُرَشِيٌّ بَعْدَ يَوْمِهِ هَذَا صَبْرًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muti’ bin Aswad that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: No permission will be given to kill any Quraysh in a state of oppression.
Hadith 15407
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ : " لَا يُقْتَلُ قُرَشِيٌّ صَبْرًا بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ ، إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muti’ bin Aswad that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: No permission will be given to kill any Quraysh in a state of oppression.
Hadith 15408
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ أَخِي بَنِي عَدِيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُطِيعٍ ، وَكَانَ اسْمُهُ الْعَاصُ ، فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُطِيعًا ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، حِينَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ هَؤُلَاءِ الرَّهْطِ بِمَكَّةَ , يَقُولُ : " لَا تُغْزَى مَكَّةُ بَعْدَ هَذَا الْعَامِ أَبَدًا ، وَلَا يُقْتَلُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ بَعْدَ الْعَامِ صَبْرًا أَبَدًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muti’ bin Aswad, whose name was previously ‘As and was changed by the Prophet (peace be upon him) to Muti’, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: From today until the Day of Resurrection, there will be no jihad in Makkah, and it will not be permissible to kill any Qurayshi in a state of oppression.
Hadith 15409
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ يَقُولُ : " لَا يُقْتَلُ قُرَشِيٌّ صَبْرًا بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ " , وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْ الْإِسْلَامُ أَحَدًا مِنْ عُصَاةِ قُرَيْشٍ غَيْرَ مُطِيعٍ " ، وَكَانَ اسْمُهُ عَاصِي فَسَمَّاهُ مُطِيعًا ، يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
