It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hakeem that once I submitted in the court of Prophethood: O Messenger of Allah! A man comes to me and wants to buy something from me, but at that time I do not have that thing. Can I buy it from the market and sell it to him? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not sell that which you do not possess.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam that once I requested some wealth from the Prophet (peace be upon him), and I did so several times. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Hakim, I do not refuse to give you upon your request, but Hakim, this wealth is lush and sweet, and along with it comes the dirt of people's hands. Allah's hand is above the giving hand, and the giving hand is above the receiving hand, and the lowest hand is that of the receiver."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most beloved to me even in the time of ignorance. When you announced Prophethood and went to Madinah Munawwarah, once Hakim participated in the Hajj season while he was still a disbeliever. He saw that a valuable garment of Dhi Yazan was being sold. He bought it for fifty dinars to present it as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and when he reached Madinah Munawwarah with it, he wanted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to accept it. But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) refused and said, "We do not accept anything from the polytheists. However, if you wish, you may take the price from us." When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) refused to accept that garment as a gift from me, I gave it to you as a sale instead.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The seller and the buyer (the one who sells and the one who buys) have the option (to cancel the transaction) as long as they do not separate. Abdullah says: I also found this addition in my father's book, that if both of them speak the truth and clarify everything, then they will be blessed in their transaction, and if they lie and conceal something, then the blessing of their transaction will be taken away from them.
