It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul, soon Jesus (peace be upon him) will descend among you as a just ruler. He will break the cross, kill the swine, abolish the jizya, and wealth will flow so abundantly that no one will be found to accept it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a servant gives charity from lawful wealth, even if it is a single date, Allah accepts it and takes it in His right hand, and only lawful things ascend to Allah. Just as one of you raises and nurtures his young goat, in the same way Allah nurtures and increases that charity, until it becomes as large as a mountain in the hand of Allah.

Abdullah bin Rabah says that once, during the blessed month of Ramadan, several delegations—including myself and Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him)—arrived at the place of Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), and we used to prepare food for each other. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) would often invite us to eat at his place. I said, "Should I not cook food and then invite them to my house?" So I ordered food to be prepared. In the evening, I met Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "O Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), tonight there is an invitation at my place." He said, "You have preceded me." I said, "Yes, I have invited everyone." Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O group of Ansar, shall I not inform you of a hadith about yourselves?" Then he mentioned the conquest of Makkah and said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out (from Madinah) and reached Makkah. He sent Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) to one side and Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) to the other, and sent Abu Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him) as the commander over those without armor. They passed through the valley, and the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) remained with a separate military detachment. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked up at me and said, "Abu Hurairah!" I replied, "At your service, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." He said, "Let no one come to me except the Ansar. Call the Ansar to me." So they all gathered around the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Quraysh also gathered their supporters and followers and said, "We will send them forward; if they gain any benefit, we will join them, and if anything happens to them, we will give whatever is demanded from us." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said (to the companions), "Do you see the supporters and followers of Quraysh?" Then he struck one hand on the other and said, "(You go), and meet me at Mount Safa." We set out, and whoever among us wanted to kill someone could do so, and none of them could face us. Hazrat Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), the leadership of Quraysh has ended; after today, there will be no Qurayshi left." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever closes the door of his house is safe, and whoever enters the house of Abu Sufyan is safe." So the people closed their doors. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) touched the Black Stone, performed the circumambulation of the Ka'bah, and at that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a bow in his hand. He pricked the eye of the idol which the polytheists used to worship and which was placed in a corner of the Ka'bah, and recited this verse: "Truth has come, and falsehood has vanished." Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) climbed Mount Safa, from where the Ka'bah could be seen, and raised his hands and continued to remember Allah and supplicate for as long as Allah willed. The Ansar were below, and they began saying to each other, "Love for his city and kindness to his relatives has overcome him (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him)." Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Revelation came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and when revelation would descend upon him, no one could look up at the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) until the revelation ended." When the revelation was complete, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O group of Ansar, did you say that love for his city has overcome this man?" They replied, "That is indeed what happened." He said, "Never! I am Allah's servant and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). I migrated towards Allah and towards you. Now my life is with your life, and my death is with your death." So the Ansar, weeping, came forward to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and began to say, "By Allah, whatever we said was only out of eagerness for the love of Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Indeed, Allah and His Messenger confirm you and accept your excuse."

One of them struck the other, who was pregnant, with a stone and killed her, and the child in her womb was also born dead. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the verdict of one "ghurra" (i.e., a male or female slave) in this matter. Then the woman against whom the verdict of "ghurra" was given passed away, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) decided that her inheritance would go to her sons and husband, and the blood money would be upon her 'asaba (male relatives on the father's side).

Upon this, Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said "Allahu Akbar" and said: "Whatever my beloved (peace and blessings be upon him) told me, I have either seen it or I am waiting for it." The narrator of the hadith, Ja'far, says: "I have received this narration that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'When people ask you this question, then you should answer: Allah was before everything, Allah created everything, and Allah will be after everything.'"

It is narrated from Abi Nazrah that a person from Tufawah related to me that I was a guest at the house of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) in Madinah Munawwarah. Among the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I have not seen anyone as diligent in worship and hospitality as I saw Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him). One day, I was sitting with him while Abu Hurairah was seated on a couch, holding a pouch in his hand in which there were pebbles or date stones, and below him sat a black slave girl. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) would recite "Subhan Allah" on those pebbles or stones. When all the pebbles were finished, the slave girl would gather them, put them back in the pouch, and hand them to him (and he would start reciting tasbih on them again). He said to me, "Shall I not tell you about my condition and the blessed hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" I said, "Certainly." He said, "Once, I was suffering from fever in Masjid Nabawi when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque. He asked, 'Has anyone seen the young man from the tribe of Daws?' He repeated this twice. Someone replied, 'O Messenger of Allah!' (With love and affection) he placed his blessed hand on me and spoke kindly to me. I stood up, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) walked until he reached the place where he used to pray. He turned his blessed face towards the people, and with him were two rows of men and one row of women, or two rows of women and one row of men. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'If Satan causes me to forget in prayer, the men should say "Subhan Allah" and the women should clap their hands.' The narrator said that then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the prayer, and he did not forget at any place. After that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'Everyone remain seated in your places. Is there anyone among you who, after being with his wife, closes the door and draws the curtain, then goes out and tells people about the private matters?' The people remained silent upon hearing this. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed the women and said, 'Is there any woman among you who relates such things to another woman (i.e., describes the manner of intercourse with her husband)?' Hearing this, the women remained silent. Then a woman placed her knees on the ground and raised herself so that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) could see her and hear her words. She said, 'O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), men also mention such things and women also mention such things (i.e., there are men who describe the manner of intercourse with their wives to others).' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'Do you know what the example of this is? It is like a devil meeting a she-devil on the road and fulfilling his desire with her while people are watching.' Be aware that the fragrance for men is that its scent is apparent but its color is not, and the fragrance for women is that its color is apparent but its scent is not."
