حَدِيثُ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27619
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَمَرَهَا بِقَتْلِ الْأَوْزَاغِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the killing of the lizard.
Hadith 27620
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمُّ شَرِيكٍ ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " لَيَفِرَّنَّ النَّاسُ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِ فِي الْجِبَالِ " ، قَالَتْ أُمُّ شَرِيكٍ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَأَيْنَ الْعَرَبُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ؟ قَالَ : " كُلُّهُمْ قَلِيلٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "A time will certainly come when people will flee from the Dajjal and take refuge in the mountains." Hazrat Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her) asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Where will the Arabs be on that day?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "They will be very few."
Hadith 27621
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ : " أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِمَّنْ وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was among those women who offered herself to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a gift.
