حَدِيثُ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Umm Furwah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27476
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ , قالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ , عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ , عَنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ , عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ , أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ أَفْضَلِ الْأَعْمَالِ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلم : " َالصلَاةُ لِأَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Farwah (may Allah be pleased with her) that a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the most virtuous deed, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "To perform the prayer at its earliest time."
