Hadith 27467
Musa Jahni reports that once I was present in the service of Fatimah bint Ali, she said that Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) told me that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "You have the same relation to me as Harun had to Musa, except that there will be no prophet after me."

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that when Hazrat Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us and said: "Wear mourning clothes for three days, then do as you wish." This hadith is also narrated through another chain.

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) first fell ill in the house of Hazrat Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). The illness of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) increased, until he became unconscious. The pure wives consulted among themselves about giving medicine to the blessed mouth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so they put medicine in the blessed mouth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regained consciousness, he asked: "What is this?" We submitted that this is the work of your pure wives who have come from here, and pointed towards the land of Abyssinia. Among them was Hazrat Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) as well. She submitted: O Messenger of Allah! We thought that you were suffering from the illness of pleurisy. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is such an illness that Allah Almighty will never afflict me with. No one should remain in this house whose mouth is not given medicine, except for the uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that is, Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him). Thus, on that day, medicine was put in the mouth of Hazrat Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), even though she was fasting that day, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had given a very strict order for it.
Hadith 27470
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that once she submitted in the court of the Messenger: O Messenger of Allah! The children of Ja'far are affected by the evil eye, can I perform ruqyah (spiritual healing) on them? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes! If anything could overtake destiny, it would be the evil eye."

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I was the one who prepared Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and presented her to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and there were some other women with me. By Allah! We found nothing with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for hospitality except a bowl of milk. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) first drank from it himself, then handed the bowl to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She felt shy. We said to her: Do not return the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) hand, rather take the bowl. So, she shyly took the bowl and drank a little milk from it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Give it to your companions.” We said: We do not desire it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do not combine hunger and lying.” I said: O Messenger of Allah! If any woman among us desires something but says she does not desire it, will that be counted as a lie? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A lie is written as a lie, and a small lie is written as a small lie.”
