حَدِيثُ أُمِّ مُسْلِمٍ الْأَشْجَعِيَّةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Umm Muslim al-Ashja'iyyah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27465
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ , عَنْ حَبِيبٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ , عَنْ رَجُلٍ , عَنْ أُمِّ مُسْلِمٍ الْأَشْجَعِيَّةِ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَاهَا وَهِيَ فِي قُبَّةٍ , فَقَالَ : " مَا أَحْسَنَهَا إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهَا مَيْتَةٌ " , قالَتْ : فَجَعَلْتُ أَتَتَبَّعُهَا.
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Muslim Ashja’iyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to her place while she was in a tent. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How good this would be if there were no carrion in it." She says: "Upon hearing this, I began to search for it."
