حَدِيثُ امْرَأَةٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of a woman (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27454
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ , عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ , عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ , أَنَّ امْرَأَةً حَدَّثَتْهُ , قَالَتْ : نَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ , فَقُلْتُ : تَضْحَكُ مِنِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا , وَلَكِنْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَخْرُجُونَ غُزَاةً فِي الْبَحْرِ , مَثَلُهُمْ مَثَلُ الْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ " , قَالَتْ : ثُمَّ نَامَ , ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ أَيْضًا يَضْحَكُ , فَقُلْتُ : تَضْحَكُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مِنِّي ؟ قَالَ : " لَا , وَلَكِنْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَخْرُجُونَ غُزَاةً فِي الْبَحْرِ , فَيَرْجِعُونَ قَلِيلَةً غَنَائِمُهُمْ مَغْفُورًا لَهُمْ " , قَالَتْ : ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ , فَدَعَا لَهَا , قالَ : فَأَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ , قَالَ : فَرَأَيْتُهَا فِي غَزَاةٍ غَزَاهَا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الرُّومِ هِيَ مَعَنَا , فَمَاتَتْ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ .
It is narrated from a female companion that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) was taking a nap in my house when he suddenly woke up smiling. I said, "May my father be sacrificed for you, what makes you smile?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Some people from my Ummah were presented before me who were riding on the surface of the sea just as kings sit on their thrones." I said, "Pray to Allah that He includes me among them." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "O Allah! Include her among them." Thus, she participated in a naval expedition along with her husband, Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him), and she fell from her red and white mule, broke her neck, and passed away.
