حَدِيثُ كُبَيْشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Kabeeshah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27448
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ , عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ , عن عبد الرحمن الْأَنْصَارِيِّ , عَنْ جَدَّةٍ لَه , قَالَتْ : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا قِرْبَةٌ , فَشَرِبَ مِنْ فِيهَا وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ " , وَقُرِئَ عَلَيْهِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ يَعْنِي سُفْيَانَ : سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ , عَنْ جَدَّتِي , وَهِيَ كُبَيْشَةُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Kabeesha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to her place. She had a water-skin with her. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood and drank water from its mouth by placing his mouth on it.
