It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, I gave protection to my two brothers-in-law "who were among the polytheists." Meanwhile, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, covered in dust and wrapped in a cloak. Upon seeing me, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Welcome, Umm Hani." I submitted: O Messenger of Allah! I have given protection to my two brothers-in-law "who were among the polytheists." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever you have given protection to, we also give protection to; whoever you have granted safety, we also grant safety." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), she brought water, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ghusl (ritual bath) with it. Then, wrapping himself well in a garment, he offered eight rak‘ahs (units of prayer).

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) that I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the meaning of the Divine command «وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ». Yusuf bin Mahak once went to Hazrat Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) and asked her about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entering Makkah on the day of the conquest of Makkah, and whether the Prophet (peace be upon him) had prayed at her place at that time. She said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered Makkah at the time of Duha (forenoon). I placed a bowl of water in which traces of flour were visible. Now I do not remember whether Hazrat Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned that he performed ablution or took a bath. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed four rak‘ahs in the house’s mosque. Yusuf says that I also got up, performed ablution from her water-skin, and prayed four rak‘ahs at the same place.
Hadith 27387
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "When we die, will we be able to meet and see each other?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "The soul of a person remains hanging on the trees in the form of birds. When the Day of Resurrection comes, every person's soul will enter his body."

Abdullah bin Harith (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked various companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of the Prophet (peace be upon him) about the Duha prayer, but except for Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her), no one told me that the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed this prayer. However, she narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to her place and performed eight rak‘ahs. I did not see him perform this prayer before that nor after that.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me, so I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have become old and weak, tell me an action that I can do while sitting? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Say «سبحان الله» a hundred times, for it is equal to freeing a hundred slaves from among the descendants of Ismail; say «الحمدلله» a hundred times, for it is equal to equipping a hundred horses with saddles and reins for the Mujahideen in the way of Allah; and say «الله اكبر» a hundred times, for it is equal to a hundred camels with bridles that have been accepted; and say «لا اله الا الله» a hundred times, for it fills the space between the heavens and the earth, and on that day no one’s deed can surpass this except someone who does the same as you have done.
