Hadith 27369
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a boy, two goats should be sacrificed for 'Aqiqah, and for a girl, one goat."
Hadith 27370
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Qarz (may Allah be pleased with her) that a small boy was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he urinated on the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that water be sprinkled over it. Then a girl was brought, and she urinated, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that it be washed.
Hadith 27371
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a boy, two goats should be sacrificed for 'Aqiqah, and for a girl, one goat."

حَجَّاجٌ , عَنِ
ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ,
وَعَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا
ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي
عَطَاءٌ , عَنْ
حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ أَبِي خُثَيْمٍ , عَنْ
أُمِّ بَنِي كُرْزٍ الْكَعْبِيَّةِ , أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ , فَقَالَ :
" عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافَأَتَانِ , وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ " , قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ : مَا الْمُكَافَأَتَانِ ؟ قَالَ : الْمِثْلَانِ , قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : وَالضَّأْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنَ الْمَعْزِ , وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ إِنَاثِهَا , قَالَ : وَنُحِبُّ أَنْ يَجْعَلَهُ سَوَادَهَا مِنْهُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that I asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about 'Aqiqah. He said: "For a boy, two goats should be sacrificed for 'Aqiqah, and for a girl, one goat."
Hadith 27373
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about 'Aqiqah. He said: "For a boy, two goats should be sacrificed for 'Aqiqah, and for a girl, one goat. And it does not matter whether the animal is male or female."
Hadith 27374
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
