حَدِيثُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27360
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ , عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , عَنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ , عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ , أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ حَدَّثَتْهُ , أَنَّهَا أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَشَكَتْ إِلَيْهِ الدَّمَ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ , فَانْظُرِي , فَإِذَا أَتَاكِ قُرْؤُكِ , فَلَا تُصَلِّي , فَإِذَا مَرَّ الْقُرْءُ , فَتَطَهَّرِي , ثُمَّ صَلِّي مَا بَيْنَ الْقُرْءِ إِلَى الْقُرْءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once she came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and complained about continuous bleeding during menstruation. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: This is blood from a vein, so observe that when the time of your menstrual period comes, do not perform prayers, and when that period passes, consider yourself pure, perform purification, and continue to perform prayers until the next period.
