حَدِيثُ عَمَّةِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of the paternal aunt of Husayn ibn Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27352
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بنُ سعيد , وَيَعْلَى , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى , عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ , عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ , أَنَّ عَمَّةً لَهُ , أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَاجَةٍ , فَفَرَغَتْ مِنْ حَاجَتِهَا , فَقَالَ لَهَا : " أَذَاتُ زَوْجٍ أَنْتِ ؟ " , قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ , قَالَ : " فَأَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ ؟ " , قَالَ يَعْلَى : " فَكَيْفَ أَنْتِ لَهُ ؟ " , قَالَتْ : مَا آلُوهُ إِلَّا مَا عَجَزْتُ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : " انْظُرِي أَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ , فَإِنَّهُ جَنَّتُكِ وَنَارُكِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that one of his paternal aunts came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for some work. When the work was completed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Are you married?" She replied: "Yes!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Do you serve your husband?" She said: "I do not fall short in this, except when I am unable to do something." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be mindful of this, for he is your Paradise and your Hell."
