حَدِيثُ أُمِّ جُنْدُبٍ الْأَزْدِيَّةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Umm Jundub al-Azdiyya (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27110
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ جُنْدُبٍ الْأَزْدِيَّة ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ , لَا تَقْتُلُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ عِنْدَ جَمْرَةِ الْعَقَبَةِ ، وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Jundub (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people! Do not kill each other near Jamrah Aqabah and take pebbles like date stones."
Hadith 27111
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ جُنْدُبٍ الْأَزْدِيَّةِ , أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ ، قَالَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ وَالْوَقَارِ , وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Jundub (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying upon returning from Arafat: O people! Make calmness and dignity obligatory upon yourselves and take pebbles like small pieces of pottery.
Hadith 27112
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، لَا يَقْتُلْ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا إِذَا رَمَيْتُمْ الْجَمْرَةَ , فَارْمُوهَا بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ " ، قال عبد الله : قَالَ أَبِي : وَقُرِئَ عَلَيْهِ يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ يَعْنِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
