حَدِيثُ ابْنَةٍ لِخَبَّابٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of a daughter of Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27097
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْفَائِشِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنَةٍ لِخَبَّابٍ ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجَ خَبَّابٌ فِي سَرِيَّة ، فَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَعَاهَدُنَا ، حَتَّى كَانَ يَحْلُبُ عَنْزًا لَنَا ، قَالَتْ : فَكَانَ يَحْلُبُهَا حَتَّى يَطْفَح ، أَوْ يَفِيضَ ، فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ خَبَّابٌ ، حَلَبَهَا ، فَرَجَعَ حِلَابُهَا إِلَى مَا كَانَ , فَقُلْنَا لَهُُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَحْلُبُهَا حَتَّى يَفِيضَ , وَقَالَ مَرَّة : حَتَّى تَمْتَلِئَ , فَلَمَّا حَلَبْتَهَا ، رَجَعَ حِلَابُهَا " .
The daughter of Hazrat Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Hazrat Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) set out with an army, and behind him, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took such care of us that he would even milk our goat. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would milk the goat into a large bowl, and the bowl would be filled to the brim. When Hazrat Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) returned and milked it, the usual amount of milk came out. We said to him that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to milk it, the bowl would be filled to the brim, but when you milked it, the milk decreased.
Hadith 27098
حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَحْمَسِي ، عَنِ ابْنَةٍ لِخَبَّابِ بْنِ الْأَرَتِّ ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجَ أَبِي فِي غَزَاةٍ ، وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ إِلَّا شَاةً ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
