حَدِيثُ أُمِّ بِلَالٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Umm Bilal (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27072
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمِّي ، عَنْ أُمِّ بِلَالٍ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " ضَحُّوا بِالْجَذَعِ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ ، فَإِنَّهُ جَائِزٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Bilal (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if a lamb is six months old, you may offer it as a sacrifice, for it is permissible."
Hadith 27073
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى مَوْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيِّينَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمُّ بِلَالٍ ابْنَةُ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَجُوزُ الْجَذَعُ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ ، أُضْحِيَّةً " .
