حَدِيثُ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Umm ‘Umara (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27059
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مَوْلَاتِهِ لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا ، قَالَ : وَثَابَ إِلَيْهَا رِجَالٌ مِنْ قَوْمِهَا ، قَالَ : فَقَدَّمَتْ إِلَيْهِمْ تَمْرًا ، فَأَكَلُوا ، فَتَنَحَّى رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا شَأْنُهُ ؟ " , فَقَالَ : إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَمَا إِنَّهُ مَا مِنْ صَائِمٍ يَأْكُلُ عِنْدَهُ فَوَاطِرُ ، إِلَّا صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَقُومُوا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Ammarah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to her house. When this news spread, some other people from her tribe also came to her house. She presented dates before the guests, and the people began to eat them. However, one man was sitting in a corner. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What is the matter with him?" He replied, "I am fasting." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When food that breaks the fast is being eaten in front of a fasting person, the angels continue to pray for that fasting person until the people disperse."
Hadith 27060
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبٌ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنْ لَيْلَى ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا ، فَقَرَّبَتْ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا ، قَالَ : " ادْنِي فَكُلِي " , قَالَتْ : إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ ، قَالَ : " الصَّائِمُ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ ، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Ammarah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to her house. She presented dates before the guests. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Umm Ammarah: "You also come near and eat." She informed that she was fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that when food that breaks the fast is being eaten in front of a fasting person, then until those people get up, the angels keep praying for that fasting person.
Hadith 27061
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَوْلَاةً لَنَا ، يُقَالُ لَهَا : لَيْلَى تُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا ، فَدَعَتْ لَهُ بِطَعَامٍ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " كُلِي " ، فَقَالَتْ : إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الصَّائِمَ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ ، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَفْرَغُوا " وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ : " حَتَّى يَقْضُوا أَكْلَهُمْ " .
