حَدِيثُ أُمِّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتِ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Hadith of Umm Khalid bint Khalid ibn Sa'id ibn al-'As (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27056
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُرَّةَ مُوسَى بْنُ طَارِقٍ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقبةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتِ خَالِدٍ , أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Khalid (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seeking refuge from the punishment of the grave.
Hadith 27057
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتِ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِكِسْوَةٍ فِيهَا خَمِيصَةٌ صَغِيرَةٌ ، فَقَالَ : " مَنْ تَرَوْنَ أَحَقَّ بِهَذِهِ ؟ " فَسَكَتَ الْقَوْمُ ، فَقَالَ : " ائْتُونِي بِأُمِّ خَالِدٍ " فَأُتِيَ بِهَا ، فَأَلْبَسَهَا إِيَّاهَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ : " أَبْلِي وَأَخْلِقِي " , وَجَعَلَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى عَلَمٍ فِي الْخَمِيصَةِ أَحْمَرَ ، أَوْ أَصْفَرَ ، وَيَقُولُ : " سَنَاهْ , سَنَاهْ , يَا أُمَّ خَالِدٍ " , و" َسَنَاهْ " فِي كَلَامِ الْحَبَشِ : الْحَسَنُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Khalid (may Allah be pleased with her) that once some clothes came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) from somewhere, among which was a small silk garment. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked the companions (may Allah be pleased with them), "In your opinion, who is most deserving of this?" The people remained silent. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Call Umm Khalid to me." She was brought, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) made her wear those clothes and said to her twice, "Wear it and may you wear it out." Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) kept looking at the red or yellow marks on that garment and kept saying, "O Umm Khalid! How beautiful it looks."
Hadith 27058
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ , سَمِعَ أُمَّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتَ خَالِدٍ , قَالَ : وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَحَدًا , يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيْرَهَا , تقول : سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ " .
