Hadith 27051
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Mundhir (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my house, and Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him, upon whom signs of weakness due to illness were still visible. There were bunches of dates hanging in our house. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to eat from those dates. Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) also wanted to eat the dates, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Ali! Stop, the signs of weakness are still evident upon you." Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) stopped. Then I made barley bread and beetroot curry and presented it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Eat this, for it is more beneficial for you."

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Mundhir (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my house, and Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him, upon whom signs of weakness due to illness were still apparent. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Eat this, for it is more beneficial for you." So both of them ate from it.
