Hadith 27030
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that once Duba’ah bint Zubair bin Abdul Muttalib came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). She was ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her: “Will you not travel with us on this journey?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended the Farewell Pilgrimage (Hajjatul Wada’). She submitted: O Messenger of Allah! I am ill, and I fear that my illness may prevent me (from completing the rites). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “You should enter into the state of Ihram for Hajj, and make this intention: O Allah! The place where You stop me, that will be the place where my Ihram is released.”
Hadith 27031
It is narrated from Hazrat Duba’ah bint Zubair (may Allah be pleased with her) that once she slaughtered a goat at her home, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a message to her, saying: “Let us also have something to eat from your goat.” She said to the messenger, “By Allah! Now only the neck is left with us, and I feel shy to send just that to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).” The messenger went back and informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of this. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Go to her and tell her to send the neck; it is a good part of the goat, close to goodness and far from impurity.”
