It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that once during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace be upon him), there was a solar eclipse. On that day, I went to Hazrat Aisha's house and asked her, "What has happened to the people that they are praying at this time?" She pointed her head towards the sky. I asked, "Has some sign appeared?" She said, "Yes." On this occasion, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood for a long time in prayer until I fainted. I grabbed a water skin that was beside me and began to pour water over my head. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) finished the prayer with salam, the solar eclipse had ended. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) delivered a sermon, and after praising and glorifying Allah, he said, "After praise and salutation! Today, at this place, I have seen things that I had never seen before, even Paradise and Hell. It has been revealed to me that you people will be tested in your graves with a trial equal to or close to that of the Antichrist (Dajjal). Angels will come to you and ask, 'What do you know about this man?' The believer will reply, 'He was Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he came to us with clear miracles and guidance. We responded to his call and followed him (three times).' It will be said to him, 'We knew that you believed in this, so sleep in peace!' But the hypocrite will say, 'I do not know. I used to hear people saying something, so I said the same.' And I saw fifty or seventy thousand such people who will enter Paradise like the full moon on the fourteenth night." A man stood up and said, "Pray to Allah that He includes me among them." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "O Allah, include him among them." The Prophet (peace be upon him) then said, "O people, whatever question you ask me before I descend from my pulpit, I will surely answer it for you." A man stood up and asked, "Who is my father?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Your father is the person to whom you are attributed."

Abdullah says that once Hazrat Asma showed me a green robe which had about a span’s width of Kisrawani silk stripes on it, and both its cuffs were made of silk. She told me that this robe was worn by the Prophet (peace be upon him).

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that once my mother came during the time of the treaty with the Quraysh. At that time, she was a polytheist and in need. I asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "Can I maintain ties of kinship with her?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Yes, maintain ties of kinship with your mother."
