Hadith 26759
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ
يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ
سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ,
وَجَدَ رِيحَ طِيبٍ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، فَقَالَ : مِمَّنْ هَذِهِ الرِّيحُ ؟ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ : مِنِّي يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، فَقَالَ : مِنْكَ لِعَمْرِي ، فَقَالَ : طَيَّبَتْنِي أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ ، وَزَعَمَتْ أَنَّهَا طَيَّبَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ إِحْرَامِهِ ، فَقَالَ : اذْهَبْ ، فَأَقْسِمْ عَلَيْهَا لَمَا غَسَلَتْهُ ، فَرَجَعَ إِلَيْهَا ، فَغَسَلَتْهُ .
Sulaiman bin Yasar says that once Umar Farooq perceived the scent of perfume at Dhul-Hulaifah. He asked, "Where is this scent coming from?" Amir Muawiyah replied, "Amir al-Mu'mineen, this scent is coming from me." Umar asked, "Is it really coming from you?" He replied, "This perfume was applied to me by (my sister, the Mother of the Believers) Umm Habibah, and she says that she also applied perfume to the Ihram of the Prophet (peace be upon him)." Umar said, "Go to her and make her swear to wash it off." So he went back to her and she washed it off.
Hadith 26760
It is narrated from Hazrat Amir Muawiyah that I asked Hazrat Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her), "Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) use to pray in those clothes in which he slept with you?" She replied, "Yes! Provided that no impurity was visible on them."
Hadith 26761
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that I once saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) offering prayer, and there was one garment over both me and the Prophet (peace be upon him), and whatever was attached to it was attached to it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to kiss his noble wife while he was fasting.
Hadith 26763
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: If I did not fear hardship for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the miswak at every prayer time when they perform ablution.
Hadith 26764
حَدَّثَنَا
رَوْحٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ
حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَ
بعَنْبَسَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ الْمَوْتُ اشْتَدَّ جَزَعُهُ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : مَا هَذَا الْجَزَعُ ؟ قَالَ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ
أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ يَعْنِي أُخْتَهُ , تَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" مَنْ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ ، وَأَرْبَعًا بَعْدَهَا ، حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ لَحْمَهُ عَلَى النَّارِ " , فَمَا تَرَكْتُهُنَّ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهُنَّ.
Hassan bin Atiyyah says that when the time of death of Anbasah bin Abi Sufyan approached, he was overcome with intense anxiety. Someone asked, "What is the reason for this anxiety?" He replied, "I heard my sister, Hazrat Umm Habibah, saying that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever prays four rak'ahs before Zuhr and four rak'ahs after it, Allah will make his flesh forbidden for the Fire (of Hell). And since I heard this from her, I have never abandoned them."
Hadith 26765
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: It is not permissible for any woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day (or Allah and His Messenger) to mourn for more than three days over any deceased person other than her husband (however, for her husband she will observe mourning for four months and ten days).

شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ
حُمَيْدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ , قَالَتْ : تُوُفِّيَ حَمِيمٌ
لِأُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ ، فَدَعَتْ بِصُفْرَةٍ ، فَمَسَحَتْ بِذِرَاعَيْهَا , وَقَالَتْ : إِنَّمَا أَصْنَعُ هَذَا لِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ حَجَّاجٌ : لِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :
" لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ مُسْلِمَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ , أَنْ تُحِدَّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا " , وَحَدَّثَتْهُ
زَيْنَبُ ، عَنْ
أُمِّهَا ، وَعَنْ
زَيْنَبَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَوْ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day (or Allah and His Messenger) to mourn for any deceased person other than her husband for more than three days (however, for her husband she will observe mourning for four months and ten days).

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that when she heard the muezzin giving the adhan, she would repeat the same words that he was saying until he became silent.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever offers twelve rak'ahs (of voluntary prayers) in a day, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.
Hadith 26769
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever offers twelve rak'ahs (of nawafil) in addition to the obligatory prayers in a day, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Angels do not accompany a caravan in which there are bells.

Ibn Saeed bin Mughira once visited Hazrat Umm Habibah, so she filled a bowl with sattu and gave it to him to drink. Then Ibn Saeed took some water and only rinsed his mouth. Hazrat Umm Habibah said, "Nephew, why do you not perform ablution? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: After eating something cooked on fire, perform ablution."
Hadith 26774
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever offers twelve (nafl) rak'ahs in addition to the obligatory prayers in a day, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.

عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ
عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ
أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :
" مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً تَطَوُّعًا غَيْرَ فَرِيضَةٍ , إِلَّا بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ بَنَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ بِهِنَّ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ " , فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ : فَمَا بَرِحْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ ، وقَالَ عَمْرٌو : مَا بَرِحْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ ، وقَالَ النُّعْمَانُ : مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever offers twelve (nafl) rak'ahs in addition to the obligatory prayers in a day, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise. Hazrat Umm Habibah says that I have always offered these rak'ahs.
Hadith 26776
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to her from Muzdalifah during the night.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Angels do not accompany a caravan in which there are bells.

Ibn Saeed bin Mughira once visited Hazrat Umm Habibah, so she filled a bowl with sattu and gave it to him to drink. Then Ibn Saeed took some water and only rinsed his mouth. Hazrat Umm Habibah said, "Nephew! Why don't you perform ablution? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that after eating something cooked on fire, perform ablution."

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Perform ablution after eating something cooked on fire.

عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ
عَنْبَسَةَ , عَنْ
أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ تَوَضَّأَ ، فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً إِلَّا بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " , قَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ فَمَا زِلْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ ، وقَالَ عَنْبَسَةُ : فَمَا زِلْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ ، وقَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ أَوْسٍ : فَمَا زِلْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ ، قَالَ النُّعْمَانُ : وَأَنَا لَا أَكَادُ أَدَعُهُنَّ , قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ , عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً تَطَوُّعًا غَيْرَ فَرِيضَةٍ " فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Habibah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever among the Muslims performs ablution well and, in addition to the obligatory prayers, offers four (voluntary) rak'ahs in the way of Allah in a day, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise. Then each narrator of this hadith clarified regarding himself that he always performed these rak'ahs.
