It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Hazrat Fatimah came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a request for a servant and said, "O Messenger of Allah, my hands have developed calluses from grinding flour on the millstone and kneading the dough." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If Allah has decreed anything for you, it will surely reach you. However, at this moment, I will tell you something better than that. When you lie down on your bed, say 'Subhan Allah' thirty-three times, 'Allahu Akbar' thirty-three times, and 'Alhamdulillah' thirty-four times. These make a total of one hundred. These words are better for you than a servant. And after performing the Fajr prayer, say ten times, and after the Maghrib prayer, say ten times: 'La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulk wa lahul hamd, yuhyi wa yumit, biyadihil khair, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer.' For each of these words, ten good deeds will be written for you, ten sins will be erased, and the reward for each will be equal to freeing a slave from among the descendants of Ismail. And except for shirk, no sin of that day will be able to harm you. And when you say these words in the morning, they will become a means of protection for you from every devil and evil until the evening."
Hadith 26552
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes ghusl would become obligatory upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) by choice, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sleep in that state, then wake up, and then sleep again.

Abu Bakr bin Abdur Rahman says that my father intended to perform Umrah. When the time of departure drew near, he said to me, "Son, come, let us go to the Amir and take leave from him." I said, "As you wish." So we went to Marwan, and there were some other people with him, among whom was Abdullah bin Zubair, and they were discussing those two rak'ahs which Abdullah bin Zubair used to pray after Asr prayer. Marwan asked him, "O Ibn Zubair, from whom did you learn these two rak'ahs?" He replied, "Regarding them, Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) told me on the authority of Aisha." Marwan sent a messenger to Aisha and asked, "Ibn Zubair narrates from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) on your authority that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs after Asr. What are these two rak'ahs?" She replied and sent back the message, "Regarding this, Umm Salamah told me." Marwan then sent a messenger to Umm Salamah, saying, "According to Aisha, you told her that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs after Asr. What are these rak'ahs?" Umm Salamah said, "May Allah forgive Aisha, she did not interpret my words correctly. The real matter is that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) led the Zuhr prayer, and that day some wealth had arrived from somewhere. The Prophet (peace be upon him) sat down to distribute it until the mu'adhdhin began to call the adhan for Asr. The Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed the Asr prayer and came to my house, for it was my turn that day, and he prayed two short rak'ahs there. I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what are these two rak'ahs which you have been commanded to pray?' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'No, rather these are the rak'ahs which I used to pray after Zuhr, but I became so occupied with the distribution of wealth that the mu'adhdhin came to me with the call for Asr prayer, and I did not think it appropriate to leave them, so I prayed them now.'" Upon hearing this, Ibn Zubair said "Allahu Akbar" and said, "Does this not prove that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed them at least once? By Allah, I will never leave them." And Umm Salamah said, "Before this incident, I never saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) pray this prayer, nor after it."
Hadith 26561
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that in the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), women used to consider themselves in postpartum bleeding (nifas) for forty days after childbirth, and due to spots appearing on our faces, we used to apply wars (a type of herb) to our faces.
Hadith 26562
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that I never saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fasting two consecutive months, except that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would join the fasting of Sha'ban with that of Ramadan.
Hadith 26563
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Hazrat Ammar, he said: "O son of Sumayyah, alas! A rebellious group will kill you."
Hadith 26564
Ya'la bin Mamlak says that I asked Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) about the night prayer and recitation of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so she said: "Where are you and where is the prayer and recitation of the Prophet (peace be upon him)? The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray for as long as he slept, and he used to sleep for as long as he prayed. Then, regarding the manner of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) recitation, she described that it was with clarity of each and every letter."

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that by the One by whom oaths can be sworn, I swear by Him that compared to other people, Hazrat Ali was closest to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of his last moments. We used to visit the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) daily to inquire about his health, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would repeatedly ask, "Has Ali come?" Apparently, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had sent him on some errand. After a short while, Hazrat Ali arrived. I understood that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted to speak to him in private, so we all went outside the house and sat by the door, and among them, I was the closest to the door. Hazrat Ali leaned towards the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seated him on his left side and began to speak to him in whispers. And on that very day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away. In this regard, in the last moments, Hazrat Ali had the closest proximity to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I was with the Prophet (peace be upon him) under a blanket when my menstruation began. I started to move away, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Have your days begun?" I replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." Then I left, arranged myself, and tied a cloth. After that, I returned and entered the Prophet's (peace be upon him) blanket, and I used to perform ghusl with the Prophet (peace be upon him) from the same vessel. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) would also kiss while fasting.

Abu Salih says that once I was present in the service of Hazrat Umm Salamah. During that time, one of her nephews also arrived and he performed two rak‘ahs in her house. During the prayer, when he was about to go into prostration, he blew to remove the dust, so Hazrat Umm Salamah said to him, "Nephew, do not blow, because I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) once say to his servant whose name was Yasar, and he too had blown, 'Let your face become dusty for the sake of Allah.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "What will become of you when you are wronged by more than this?"

Only a day had passed after this when I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) announcing from the pulpit, "O people!" I was combing my hair; I wrapped up my hair and came near the door to listen. I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "Allah Almighty says: 'Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women...' this verse." Affan said: "Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward."

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to frequently make this supplication: "O Allah, Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, are hearts also turned?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Yes, Allah has created the heart of every human being between two of His fingers. If He wills, He keeps it straight, and if He wills, He turns it aside. That is why we supplicate to Allah: 'Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us,' and we ask Him for mercy from Himself. Surely, He is the Bestower." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, will you not teach me a supplication that I may recite for myself?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Why not? You should say: 'O Allah, O Lord of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), forgive my sins, remove the anger from my heart, and protect me from every misleading trial as long as You grant me life.'"

I have come to know that some people perform these two rak'ahs, whereas we neither saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) performing them nor heard him commanding them." He (Ibn Abbas) said, "People are given this fatwa by Hazrat Ibn Zubair." Shortly after, Hazrat Ibn Zubair also arrived. They asked him about this, so he informed that Hazrat Aisha had told him this regarding the Prophet (peace be upon him). Hazrat Muawiyah sent two messengers to Hazrat Aisha and asked, "Ibn Zubair narrates from you that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform two rak'ahs after Asr. What are these two rak'ahs?"
