Remaining Hadith of Ibn Wadi‘ah al-Ansari
Hadith 24009/69
حدثنا محمَّد بن جعفرٍ ، حدثنا شُعْبة ، عن الحَكَم ، عن زيد ابن وَهْب ، عن البَرَاءِ بن عازبٍ ، عن ثابت بن وَدِيعة ، أَنه أَتى النبيَّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسلَّمَ بضَبٍّ ، فقال : " أُمَّةٌ مٌسِخَتْ ، والله أَعلمُ "
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from al-Bara' ibn 'Azib, from Thabit ibn Wadi'ah, that he brought a lizard to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: "A nation was transformed, and Allah knows best."
