The remainder of the hadith of Ka'b ibn Malik al-Ansari
Hadith 24009/44
حدثنا محمد بن حُمَيد أبو سفيان ، عن مَعْمَر ، عن الزُّهْري ، عن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن كَعْبٍ ، عن كَعْب ، قال : قال رسولُ الله صَلَّي اللهٌ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَسَمةُ المُؤْمنِ تَعلُقُ في شجر الجَنَّةِ ، حتى يَرْجعَها الله إلى جَسَدِه "
Narrated to us by Muhammad ibn Humayd Abu Sufyan, from Ma'mar, from az-Zuhri, from Abdur Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn Ka'b, from Ka'b, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The soul of the believer is suspended in the trees of Paradise until Allah returns it to his body."
