حدثنا حسنٌ ، حدثنا ابن لَهِيعة ، حدثنا حَبَّانُ بن واسع ، عن أَبيه ، عن سعد بن المُنذِر الأَنصاري ، أَنه قال : يا رسولَ الله ، أَقرأُ القرآنَ في ثلاثٍ ؟ قال : " نَعَم " ، وكان يقرؤُه حتى تُوفِّي
Narrated to us by Hasan, narrated to us by Ibn Lahi‘ah, narrated to us by Habban ibn Wasi‘, from his father, from Sa‘d ibn al-Mundhir al-Ansari, that he said: O Messenger of Allah, shall I recite the Qur’an in three (days)? He said: "Yes." And he continued to recite it until he passed away.
