Mu'bad bin Ka'b narrates from his mother, "who had prayed with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) facing both Qiblahs," that I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbidding the mixing of dates and raisins together to make nabidh, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that make nabidh from each of them separately.

Abdullah bin Ka'b narrates from his mother that during the illness of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) which led to his passing, Umm Mubashir came to serve the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "May my parents be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah! Whom do you suspect regarding your condition?" I only suspect that food which you and your companions ate at Khaybar." In fact, her son had passed away before the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I also do not suspect anything except that. At this moment, it feels as if my veins are being severed."
