Hadith 23679
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّقِيفَةِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَيْسَ مِنَ امْبِرِّ امصِيَامُ فِي امسَفَرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b bin Asim Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, who was among the Companions of Saqifah, that I heard the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Fasting during travel is not an act of virtue."
Hadith 23680
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ صَفْوَانَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، قَالَ ابْنُ بَكْرِ : ابْنِ عَاصِمٍ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ " .

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ " .
