حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of a man (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 23496
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبو غِفَارٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ بنُ عَبدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَوْمِي ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ باللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ ، ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ ، مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ باللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلْيُحْسِنْ إِلَى جَارِهِ ، مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ باللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should fear Allah and honor his guest; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should fear Allah and treat his neighbor well; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should fear Allah and speak good words or else remain silent.
