حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of a man from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 23486
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنَ الْأَعْمَشِ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبدُ اللَّهِ بنُ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بنِ أَبي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَاب النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَوْلَا أَشُقُّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي ، لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بالسِّوَاكِ مَعَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I had not considered hardship for my Ummah, I would have ordered them to use the miswak with every prayer.
