حَدِيثُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمَا
Hadith of Yahya ibn Husayn ibn Urwah from his grandmother (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 23231
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبةَ ، حَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بنُ حُصَيْنِ بنِ عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَوْ اسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبدٌ يَقُودُكُمْ بكِتَاب اللَّهِ ، فَاسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأَطِيعُوا " .
Yahya bin Husain (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his grandmother that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: If even a slave is appointed as your leader who leads you according to the Book of Allah, then listen to him and obey him.
Hadith 23232
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبةُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ ، يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ ، يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ " ، قَالُوا فِي الثَّالِثَةِ : وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ؟ قَالَ : " وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ " .
Yahya bin Husain (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his grandmother that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say three times: "May Allah's mercy descend upon those who shave their heads." The third time, people requested that those who shorten their hair also be included in the supplication, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) included them as well.
Hadith 23233
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بنِ حَيَّانَ الْأَسَدِيِّ ، عَنِ ابنِ بجَادٍ ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " رُدُّوا السَّائِلَ وَلَوْ بظِلْفِ شَاةٍ مُحْتَرِقٍ " ، أَوْ مُحْرَقٍ.
Ibn Bujad narrates from his grandmother that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Send the beggar back only after giving him something, even if it is a burnt hoof of a goat."
