Hadith 23222
حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى بنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ
عُبيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي
نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ
صَفِيَّةَ ، عَنْ
بعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :
" مَنْ أَتَى عَرَّافًا ، فَصَدَّقَهُ بمَا يَقُولُ ، لَمْ تُقْبلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبعِينَ يَوْمًا " .
It is narrated from one of the purified wives of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever goes to a soothsayer (fortune-teller) and confirms what he says, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days.
Hadith 23223
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seen at a place called "Arj" pouring water over his head due to heat or thirst while in the state of fasting.
