حَدِيثُ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهَا
Hadith of some of the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 23222
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ ، عَنْ بعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَتَى عَرَّافًا ، فَصَدَّقَهُ بمَا يَقُولُ ، لَمْ تُقْبلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبعِينَ يَوْمًا " .
It is narrated from one of the purified wives of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever goes to a soothsayer (fortune-teller) and confirms what he says, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days.
Hadith 23223
حَدَّثَنَا عَبدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، وَعَبدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبي بكْرِ بنِ عَبدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ بعْضِ أَصْحَاب النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " رُئِيَ بالْعَرْجِ وَهُوَ يَصُب عَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمَاءَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ، مِنَ الْحَرِّ أَوْ الْعَطَشِ " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seen at a place called "Arj" pouring water over his head due to heat or thirst while in the state of fasting.
