حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ لَمْ يُسَمَّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith of a man whose name was not mentioned (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 22516
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، حَدَّثَهُ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، فَلَا يَرْفَعْ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يُلْتَمَعَ بَصَرُهُ " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When any one of you is in prayer, he should not look towards the sky, lest his eyesight be taken away.
