" مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ ، فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "My travel provisions and mount have run out, so please provide me with a mount." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "At this moment, I do not have any animal on which I can mount you." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah! Shall I not inform you of a person who can provide him with a mount?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever guides towards goodness, for him is a reward like that of the one who does it."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who should lead the people in prayer is the one among them who is the best reciter of the Qur'an; if they are equal in recitation, then the one who has the most knowledge of the Sunnah should lead; if they are equal in that, then the one who migrated first should lead; and if they are equal in migration, then the oldest among them should lead. No one should lead prayer in another person's house or domain except with his permission, and likewise, no one should sit in a place of honor in someone else's house except with his permission.
Hadith 22341
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer Witr in the early, middle, and last parts of the night.
Hadith 22342
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muslim has four rights over another Muslim: when he invites him, he should accept it; when he sneezes, he should respond; when he is ill, he should visit him; and when he passes away, he should attend his funeral.

" الْإِيمَانُ هَاهُنَا ، الْإِيمَانُ هَاهُنَا ، وَإِنَّ الْقَسْوَةَ وَغِلَظَ الْقُلُوبِ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ عِنْدَ أُصُولِ أَذْنَابِ الْإِبِلِ ، حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنَا الشَّيْطَانِ ، فِي رَبِيعَةَ , وَمُضَرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once pointed with his blessed hand towards Yemen and said twice, "Iman (faith) is here." Remember! Hardness and harshness of hearts are found among those arrogant ones who are owners of camels, from where the horn of Satan appears, that is, in the tribes named Rabi'ah and Mudar.

The narrator says, "I have never seen the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more angry during a sermon than on that day." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O people! Some of you make others dislike (the prayer). In this way, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned the names of 36 men. Then he said, "These people were among you, so fear Allah." It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us while we were in the gathering of Hazrat Sa’d bin ‘Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him). Hazrat Bashir bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, “O Messenger of Allah! Allah Almighty has commanded us to send blessings upon you. How should we send blessings upon you?” The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent for so long that we wished we had not asked this question. Then he said, “Say: ‘O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim, and bless Muhammad as You blessed the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.’ And as for the words of salam (peace), you already know them.”
Hadith 22353
Imam Zuhri, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once we were with Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him. He delayed the Asr prayer, so Urwah bin Zubair, may Allah have mercy on him, came to him and said that once in Kufa, Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah, may Allah be pleased with him, also delayed the Asr prayer. Then Hazrat Abu Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said to him, “What is this, Mughirah! Do you not know that once Hazrat Jibreel, peace be upon him, descended and he offered the prayer, and the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also offered the prayer at that time? In this way, for all five prayers, he came and fixed the time. Then the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, ‘I have been commanded to do this.’” Upon hearing this hadith, Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “Urwah! Speak thoughtfully, did Jibreel, peace be upon him, fix the time of the prayer?” Hazrat Urwah, may Allah have mercy on him, replied, “Yes! Basheer bin Abi Mas’ud narrated this hadith to me in this way.”

Salim Al-Barrad, who is a trustworthy narrator, says that once we presented ourselves before Hazrat Abu Mas’ud Badri (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about the method of prayer. He said, “Shall I not show you how the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray?” Saying this, he stood up and said the takbir, raised his hands, placed both his palms on his knees in ruku’, and kept his hands apart from his sides. Then he stood up straight until every limb returned to its place. Then, saying the takbir, he performed sajdah and kept his hands apart from his sides. Then he raised his head and sat up straight until every limb returned to its place. Then he performed all four rak’ahs in the same manner and showed us.
