Hadith 22337
Ata bin Saib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I was sitting with Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) when two young men from the children of Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came and after the Asr prayer, they performed two Sunnah rak'ahs. Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) sent a man to call them and said, "What prayer is this that you have performed, while your father used to forbid this?" They replied, "Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) has informed us that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed these two rak'ahs." Upon this, he remained silent and did not give them any reply.
