حَدِيثُ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of some of the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 22334
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ , وَعَفَّانُ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُرُّ بْنُ الصَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ : سُرَيْجٌ , عَنِ الْحُرِّ , عَنْ هُنَيْدَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ تِسْعَ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ ، وَيَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ ، وَثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ " ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ : أَوَّلَ اثْنَيْنِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ وَخَمِيسَيْنِ.
It is narrated from one of the purified wives of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to fast on the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, the tenth of Muharram, and three days of every month.
