Hadith of Maymun ibn Sanbadh (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 21985
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ , حَدَّثَني أَبُو أَيُّوبَ صَاحِبُ الْبَصْرِيِّ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ , حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَالُ لَهُ : مَيْمُونُ بْنُ سُنْبَادَ , يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قِوَامُ أُمَّتِي بِشِرَارِهَا " , قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymun bin Sanbaz (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The disease that will cut the roots of my Ummah will be its worst people. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated this sentence three times.
