Hadith 21983
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ مَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ مِيتَةَ عَبْدٍ بِأَرْضٍ جَعَلَ لَهُ إِلَيْهَا حَاجَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Mutrib bin Akamas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah Almighty decrees death for someone in a particular place, (then love for that place is instilled in his heart and) some need of his is created there.
Hadith 21984
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْوَرَكَانِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا حُدَيْجٌ أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ مَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُقَدَّرُ لِأَحَدٍ يَمُوتُ بِأَرْضٍ إِلَّا حُبِّبَتْ إِلَيْهِ , وَجُعِلَ لَهُ إِلَيْهَا حَاجَةٌ " .
