Hadith 21957
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Hanzalah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one dirham of usury which a person consumes knowingly is a greater sin than committing adultery thirty-six times.
Hadith 21958
Ka'b al-Ahbar says that to me, committing adultery thirty-three times is more preferable than knowingly consuming one dirham of usury.
Hadith 21959
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Hanzalah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man greeted the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), at that time the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had urinated, so he did not reply to him until he first struck his hand on the wall and performed tayammum (then he replied to him).
Hadith 21960
Muhammad bin Yahya says that he asked Ubaidullah bin Abdullah to tell him from whom Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he considers ablution necessary for every prayer, whether a person is already in a state of ablution or not. Abdullah informed that Asma bint Zaid narrated this hadith to him from Abdullah bin Hanzalah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to command ablution for every prayer, whether a person was already in a state of ablution or not. When this matter became difficult for the Prophet (peace be upon him), he commanded only the use of the miswak at the time of every prayer and ended the command for ablution, except if a person was not in a state of ablution. Since Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) found himself able to perform ablution at the time of every prayer, he continued to act upon this until his death.
