حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of a man from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 21950
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , أخبرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ , عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ حُذَافَةَ السَّهْمِيَّ , أَنْ يَرْكَبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ أَيَّامَ مِنًى , فَيَصِيحَ فِي النَّاسِ : " لَا يَصُومَنَّ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ " , قَالَ : فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ يُنَادِي بِذَلِكَ.
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the days of Mina, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Abdullah bin Huzafah Sahmi (may Allah be pleased with him) to mount his ride and announce among the people that no one should fast during the days of Tashreeq, because these are days of eating and drinking. Thus, I saw him making this announcement while mounted on his ride.
Hadith 21951
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ , وَكَانَ أَبُوهُ أَحَدَ الثَّلَاثَةِ الَّذِينَ تِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ , عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَطِيبًا , فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ , وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ , وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لِلشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ , ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنَّكُمْ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ تَزِيدُونَ , وَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ لَا يَزِيدُونَ , وَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ عَيْبَتِي الَّتِي أَوَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا , أَكْرِمُوا كَرِيمَهُمْ , وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ , فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ قَضَوْا الَّذِي عَلَيْهِمْ وَبَقِيَ الَّذِي لَهُمْ " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood one day to deliver a sermon, praised Allah, supplicated for the forgiveness of the martyrs of Uhud, and said: "O group of Muhajireen! Your numbers will increase, but the numbers of the Ansar will not increase. The Ansar are my confidants, with whom I found refuge. Honor their honorable ones and pardon their wrongdoers, for they have fulfilled their responsibilities and now only their rights remain."
