Musnad Ahmad

It is narrated from Hazrat Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) that I was coming with my master with the intention of migration. When we reached near Madinah Munawwarah, my master entered Madinah Munawwarah and left me by the mount. After a while, I was overcome by severe hunger. Meanwhile, a man coming from outside Madinah Munawwarah passed by me and said to me, "Go inside Madinah and pick some fruit from one of its gardens and eat." So I entered a garden and picked two bunches. In the meantime, the owner of the garden also arrived. He took me to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him my story. At that time, I was wearing two garments. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me, "Which of these two is the better?" I pointed to one of the garments. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Keep this one for yourself and give the other garment to the owner of the garden," and then he let me go.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) standing at a place called "Ahjar al-Zayt" (which is near the place of Zawra), making the supplication for rain (du'a istisqa). At that time, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had the inner sides of his palms facing towards his face.

Yazid ibn Harun and Ya'la narrated to us, they said: 'Abd al-Malik narrated to us from Abu al-Zubayr from Safwan. Yazid ibn 'Abd Allah said: and he mentioned it.
