Hadith 21732
Hazrat Umm Darda (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that whenever Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) would relate a hadith, he would smile. I once said to him that people might start calling you "foolish." He replied that whenever I have seen or heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrate a hadith, he was smiling.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the first person to be granted permission to prostrate will be me, and I will be the first to be allowed to raise my head. Thus, when I look before me, I will recognize my Ummah among the other communities, and likewise, I will recognize my Ummah from behind and from the right and left as well. A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! From Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) until you, how will you recognize your Ummah among all the communities that have come?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: The foreheads of the people of my Ummah will be radiant and shining due to the traces of ablution; this quality will not be found in anyone else. And I will also recognize them in that their books of deeds will be in their right hands, and that their minor children will be running ahead of them.
Hadith 21738
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 21739

Then he mentioned its meaning.
Hadith 21740
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, I will recognize my Ummah among the other communities. The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! From Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) until you, how will you recognize your Ummah among all the communities that have come?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The foreheads of the people of my Ummah will be radiant and shining due to the effects of ablution; this quality will not be found in anyone else. And I will also recognize them in that their books of deeds will be in their right hands, and their light will be running ahead of them.
Hadith 21741
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should neglect to earn a thousand good deeds every morning for the sake of Allah’s pleasure; he should say "Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi" one hundred times. Its reward is equal to a thousand good deeds, and, Insha’Allah, that person will not be able to commit that many sins in that day, and in addition, whatever good deeds he does will be even more than that.
