Hadith 21242
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man presented himself in the court of the Messenger and said, "O Messenger of Allah! The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "In that case, Allah Almighty will suffice you in all your affairs of this world and the Hereafter."
Hadith 21243
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the noble Prophets (peace be upon them), my example is like that of a person who built a beautiful and complete house and left the place of one brick empty. People would walk around that building in amazement and say, "If only the place of this brick were also completed (then this building would be complete)." Among the noble Prophets (peace be upon them), I am like that brick.
Hadith 21244
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the noble Prophets (peace be upon them), my example is like that of a person who built a beautiful and complete house and left the place of one brick empty. Hadith 21246
He said: And I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "If it were not for the Hijrah, I would have been a man from the Ansar, and if the people took a valley or a mountain pass, I would have taken the one with the Ansar.".
Hadith 21247

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the roof of the Prophet's Mosque was made of grapevine branches, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray near a trunk and would lean against that trunk while delivering the sermon. One day, a companion (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! Do you permit us to make something for you on which you can stand on Fridays so that people can see you and your sermon can reach them?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted them permission. Thus, they made a pulpit consisting of three steps. When the pulpit was completed and placed at the spot where the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had instructed, and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the trunk with the intention of ascending the pulpit, the trunk cried so much that it cracked and split from inside. Seeing this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned and placed his hand on it until it became calm, and then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended the pulpit. However, when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray, he would pray near it, and when the mosque was demolished and its structure was changed, Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b took that trunk with him, and it remained with him until it became old and was infested by termites, which made it hollow.
Hadith 21249
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the leader, orator, and intercessor of all the noble prophets (peace be upon them), and I am not saying this out of pride.

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were standing in rows with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) for the Zuhr or Asr prayer, when it seemed as if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was reaching out to grab something, then he began to move back, so the people also moved back. After the prayer was finished, Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted, "Today you did something which you have never done before?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Paradise was presented before me with all its splendors. I wanted to pluck a bunch of grapes to give to you, but then something came between us. If I had brought it to you, and all the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth had eaten from it, it would not have diminished in the least. Then Hell was presented before me. When I felt its blaze, I moved back, and I saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women, who, if entrusted with a secret, reveal it; if asked for something, act with miserliness; and if they ask for something themselves, they insist greatly (and if they receive it, they do not show gratitude). There I saw Luhay bin Amr, who was dragging his intestines in Hell, and I saw Ma'bad bin Aktham Ka'bi, who resembled him the most." Upon this, Ma'bad said, "O Messenger of Allah! Is there any harm to me in this resemblance?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No, you are a Muslim and he was a disbeliever, and he was the first person who gathered the Arabs upon idol worship."
